Welcome to Evolution’s Rules! Listed below are a general outline of Evolution’s rules regarding game play and raiding within the guild. All guild members acknowledge and accept these rules by joining Evolution and maintaining membership within our ranks. As always, if there are any questions, please find an officer in game or post on the forums!

Guild Management
All classes within Evolution have a designated class lead. Class leads are officers and each class lead reports to a Co-Guild master. The Co-Guild masters in turn report to the Guild Master. Any questions, concerns or suggestions should be brought to the veterans of your class, then the leads, Co-GMs and so on up the chain.

Guild Bank and Vent Info
Evolution has a bank as well as its own Ventrilo server. This information is proprietary and must not be given out without permission.

Evolution Reputation Standard
Evolution has a good reputation on our server and we strive to maintain that. Inappropriate conduct will not be tolerated

Performance Standards
Evolution members must display their best performance when in other instances or when grouped with other players. (i.e. don’t die and don’t ninja pull :)

Raiding Standard
Evolution comes first. We are a raiding guild, if you are on and not raiding that is not only a blow to the guild, but is disrespectful to the other members who are trying to excel in the game. If you do not want to raid, or do not want to raid with Evo, go somewhere else.

Bank Item Requests
Bank items are available to members to be purchased with gold or DKP depending on the item. Speak with your class lead.

Vent and Chat Policy
Evolution is a mature guild. Often raid chat and Vent chat will be mature and contain subject matter some would consider inappropriate. Please be aware when children are nearby.

Laughing and joking during a raid are highly encouraged and add to the atmosphere of Evolution. However, when the Raid Leader or Class Leads call “Clear Vent and Chat” all talking must cease in order to facilitate instructions or an effective execution of a given encounter.

Boss encounters are difficult and challenging. Focus and precision are required during the encounters and Vent and raid chat must be used for this purpose. Please be aware of what the raid is doing.

Raid Concerns and Leaving during a Raid
The Raid Leader and Class Leads are in control of the raid. If you have questions or concerns during the raid and it is about the current raid, please bring it up in your given class’ channel to facilitate communication. If it is concerning guild issues or item requests, bring it up in a post or question after the raid.

If you have to leave during a raid, inform your class lead. If you need to go AFK during a raid, inform your class lead as to how long you will be gone

Raid Loot Rules
Raids are all Master Looted and DKP is used to distribute loot. The DKP system is mandatory and all members who are present for the raid are awarded. Please see the DKP section of the website for rules and information.

New Member Rules

New Members (Initiates) are not allowed to bid on loot within a raid or any endgame instance until they have been promoted to Member within Evolution.

-In order to achieve the rank of Member, Initiates must attend a minimum of five (5) raids and be an Initiate for a minimum of two (2) weeks.-Initiates may not receive items from the bank until they are Members.

-Initiates are required to do whatever their Class Leads or officers above them ask them to do as “initiation”within reason during their Initiate period.

Alt Policy
As of now, we are insituting a new Alt policy. Please bear in mind that level 60's are not considered alts.

Inactive/Initiate= 0 Alts allowed
Members= 1 Alt allowed
Veterans= 2 Alts Allowed
Officer+= Unlimited

We will begin to remove excess alts on Tuesday the 25th of April. Please send an in-game mail to me about which alts you would like to keep in the guild. If you want you can make it easier on me and remove some on your own. All Alt toons should be labeled as belonging to your Main so we know who they belong too. Thanks
